Kano state Government says its succeeded to operate Drugs revolving fund scheme (DRF) to about seven hundred health facilities out of the one thousand health facilities we have in the state,
The state commissioner for health Dr Kabiru Ibrahim Getso drop the hints while receiving a high-power delegation from Zamfara state, under the leadership of the Commissioner for health Zamfara Alh. Lawal M. Liman, Commissioner for justice, and Attorney General Zamfara state and many more dignitaries and senior staff from Zamfara state government who call on him in his office.
The Commissioner who expressed appreciation for the visit assured them to feel at home, and pledge to provide them with whatever information they may require for their speedy development.
He explained how Kano state ministry of health operate despite the high number of population among all the state in the federation adding that, the health sector in Kano state is been given top priorities attention its deserve, which resulted to the unprecedented development in the health sector.
Earlier, the Zamfara state commissioner for health Alh Lawal M. Liman said they were in Kano for a study tour on how the drugs revolving funds Scheme(DRF) work effectively in Kano and other health challenges that is been addressed in Kano state despite its cosmopolitan nature.
Alh Lawal Liman also commended Kano state government for the giant strides and for the feat in revamping health care services in the state which attracted other neighboring state to emulate the shining example.
In their separate remarks, the Attorney General and commissioner for justice Barr. Bello umar Gusau and the Permanent secretary ministry of health Gusau Dr Habibu Yalwa thanked the ministry for the warm reception accorded to them and pledge that the cordial relationship between the two state would be maintained.
